How many times have you wanted to start a new show, but all you found yourself doing was scrolling endlessly through Netflix, searching and searching and searching? Well, I present to you a list of select Limited Series you could start watching this moment (given that you don’t have any pending submissions, which you probably do). Nevertheless, when that moment finally arrives and you can breathe again (if only temporarily) start watching one of these shows. Not only are the ones listed down below enticing thrillers that can captivate you for hours, but you’ll also find a couple of inspirational series to finally motivate you to finish that essay. And the best part: none of ‘em run for longer than 10 episodes, which means you can watch the entire show within a day – if you’re a binger. If not, well, it might take you a couple of days.

Investigative True Crime Docuseries
1. Conversations with a Serial Killer: Ted Bundy Tapes
The series is a collection of archived interviews featuring the American serial killer responsible for the deaths of 30 women, Ted Bundy. The series is directed by Oscar-nominated director Joe Berlinger, who made the collection for anyone interested in how the mind of a serial killer works, how they analyze their motives, and how they plan their moves. More than 100 hours of interviews were used to create this four-part series.
2. Tiger King
This true-crime docuseries captures the underworld of cat breeding, shedding light on its eccentric characters. It is centered on “Joe Exotic”, an infamous collector of giant cats (read: tigers and lions) that he kept at a "zoo" in Oklahoma. It focuses heavily on Joe's extreme relationship with his nemesis, Carole Baskin, an animal rights activist and founder of Big Cat Rescue. Joe accused Carole of murdering her husband and feeding him to her big cats and later tried to pay someone to murder her.

3. Unbelievable
Inspired by true events, the show follows the story of a teen accused of lying about rape. However, two female detectives investigate a spate of eerily similar attacks, desperately trying to uncover the truth. The show spans 8 episodes, co-created by Susannah Grant, Ayelet Waldman, and Michael Chabon.
4. When They See Us
This limited series spans 25 years within just 4 episodes. It is based on the lives of five men, later known as the Central Park Five. Each was accused and wrongfully convicted on the charge of gang-raping and nearly killing Trisha Meili, who was jogging nearby and “encountered” these men. All were sent to prison as teenagers in the year 1989.
5. The Spy
This thriller is about the Israeli clerk-turned-secret agent Eli Cohen, who is on a years-long undercover mission in Syria to spy for Mossad. He is Israel's most prominent spy, known for infiltrating the Syrian government in the 1960s. The drama-filled series will keep you engrossed for the six hours that you watch it.

6. Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates
This enticing docuseries explores the mind and motivations of the celebrated tech visionary, business leader and philanthropist Bill Gates. A must-watch for anyone interested in his life!
7. High Score
A documentary created by France Costrel, it showcases interviews with creators and developers of early video games. If you’re studying pop-culture in the late 1900s, this is your show to watch.

8. Maniac
The show, starring Emma Stone, Jonah Hill and Justin Theroux, follows Stone and Hill, who are voluntarily being experimented on using questionable methods that force them to live out alternate realities. If you’re a sci-fi fan, be sure to check this out.
9. Alias Grace
Adapted from a Margaret Atwood novel, the show is set in mid-19th century Canada, narrating the tale of a house servant, Grace, who is convicted of a double murder. A therapist calls to try and discern if Grace is guilty or innocent, and lying or speaking truthfully. The show revolves around her and her confessions.
10. Black Earth Rising
The inspiring and uplifting show centers on Kate Ashby, who works as a legal investigator in the London law chambers of Michael Ennis. When Kate's adoptive mother Eve takes on a case prosecuting an African militia leader, the story pulls Michael and Kate into a journey that will upend their lives forever.
